Bus conversions by the very nature of the vehicle, requires both specialist tools and skills, these tradesmen are known as coach builders. A full vehicle conversion (a full conversion can take months from start to finish on a full conversion) usually starts with a bus or vehicle acquisition within a budget that is suitable for both the proposed project envisaged or for its final use as some form of promotional, event or exhibition vehicle. Then all the seats and extraneous items are removed. Any structural work that is required as a part of the vehicle conversion is undertaken at this point and this would include removal of any doors and windows and possibly repositioning them in another location and then, and only then can work begin on getting the interior work started.
